Library Service
The Library of the Institut d'Estudis Ilerdencs has about 24,000 books approximately. The service gathers an important number of local bibliography. It also has a general section, that consists of encyclopaedias, catalogues and bibliographies, etc. The library has also a section with material in braille with 400 books.
Halls and sections:
- Sala General: The library has about 27.363 books, approximately at the disposal of the univesity students community and the other potential users.
- Sala Hemeroteca: This newspaper library gathers 600 publications, from weekly general information magazines to specialised ones. It also includes 370 different magazines and newspapers from the regions of Lleida
- Fons Samuel Gili i Gaya: Filosofy, literature and political sciences books.
- Sala Antoni Bergós: Material in Braille with 400 books for the sightless
people in our province
